I used to live in the Santa Cruz (Calif.) Mountains. One morning when I went into the bathroom, I saw a huge orange glow from my bathroom window. It was so vibrant that at first I thought it was a fire. So I went outside and saw this most incredible sunrise. I just had to snap a photo.

The original photo had trees in the foreground. I decided not to include the trees as I felt they would detract from the beautiful sunrise.
