Nevada Sunset
Nevada Sunset
Now that I live in Nevada, I’m thoroughly enjoying watching the sunrises and sunsets. This painting is of a beautiful sunset that popped over the mountain one December morning. The contrast with the colorful sunset and the black stark trees was something I could not ignore. So, I decided to paint it. I combined both watercolor paint and gouache with it to help create the clouds. The gouache helped soften the clouds. This painting is part of the Sunrises and Sunsets collection.
This painting is both unmatted and unframed.
It measures 12” x 16” and is designed to fit in a mat with an 11” x 14” opening. Once matted and framed, it would look beautiful, even with another one from the same collection, in your home or office.
This painting is under consideration with the National Watercolor Society’s 104th Exhibition. It will be made available again if it is not accepted into the exhibition. If it is accepted, then it will be made available once the exhibition is over (and it does not sell there). Thank you.
