Birnham Rock and Yellow Flowers
Birnham Rock and Yellow Flowers
This painting is a compilation of two photographs that I found on Wikimedia Commons. They are both open source photos. I had a watercolor paint called Hematite that I wanted to use. It is a mineral from hematite and is black with brown undertones. I wanted to use this paint for my last painting in the Abstract Rock collection.
I added the yellow flowers from a recommendation from a friend.
It is my understanding that these rocks are located in Scotland. But because I have never been to Scotland, I cannot verify it.
The contrast with the blue sky, black rock, yellow flowers, and green lawn would look great in a room with these colors and accents.
Once framed, this painting would look great in a home or office.
I provide a Certificate of Authenticity if requested.
