These beautiful wildflowers grow wildly in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. This particular scene was photographed by a friend of mine who gave me permission to paint it. I have been wanting to paint this for over a year but a sudden move out of California and a death in the family prevented me from doing so.

Now in March 2024, I finally found the time to paint it. The scene of the barn in the background surrounded by these gorgeous (albeit invasive) wildflowers was a scene that needed to be painted.

This painting is not either matted or framed. It needs a mat that is at least 11" x 14" with an image size of 9" x 12." This painting would make a nice addition to your home or office.
