When I moved to eastern Nevada, I had no idea only a month later I'd experience the Great American eclipse on October 14, 2023. We experienced a full eclipse and it took an entire hour to traverse itself across the sun. I watched it with friends for the entire time. I was so moved that I decided I wanted to paint it.

This painting is called a quadtych, or 4 canvas panels that make one painting. I came up with the idea to have 4 panels so that the design can change in case you're tired of the circular design. I have included three extra images to give you an idea of different designs with this painting.

This is the second acrylic painting I have done recently. I am finding that the acrylics are somewhat easier (though messier) than watercolors. I am going to continue working in both acrylics and watercolors.

This painting will be sold as one, the panels will not be sold separately.
